How to Use the Curve in Real Life
Practical ways to rethink decisions, habits, and expectations.

An idea becomes useful when it touches the calendar. Here are three places I would start with the idea of returning to a steadier center.
Decisions
Avoid asking your most exhausted self to make every important choice. If a decision can wait until morning, let it. If it cannot, write down what you know, what you assume, and what you still need to ask.
Habits
Build a minimum version of the habit. A page instead of a chapter. Ten minutes outside instead of a perfect workout. The minimum keeps a relationship alive on the days when ambition is unavailable.
Expectations
Look at a week before judging a day. A day can be strange for reasons that have little to do with effort. A longer view often makes room for a fairer interpretation.
None of this guarantees a particular outcome. It simply gives you a few practical ways to meet uncertainty without turning every fluctuation into an emergency.
